The Red Ruffed Lemur (Varecia rubra) is a strikingly beautiful and critically endangered primate found only in the rainforests of Madagascar. With its vibrant red fur, black markings, and large, expressive eyes, it is one of the most visually distinctive lemurs. The red ruffed lemur is primarily found in the north and northeastern parts of Madagascar, specifically in the Masoala Peninsula, where it inhabits the dense, tropical rainforests.
Unfortunately, the red ruffed lemur faces several threats that have led to its endangered status. Habitat destruction due to deforestation is the primary concern, as large areas of Madagascar's forests are cleared for agriculture, logging, and charcoal production. In addition, the lemurs' small population size and limited range make them vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and natural disasters. While they are not directly hunted, the loss of their habitat, combined with human encroachment, has significantly reduced their population.

- The pigment-dye process gives each garment unique character. Please allow for color variation in production and washing
- Pigment dye garments must be printed with a poly blocker base and a low cure ink.- Pigment dyed garments do not discharge.
- Care Instructions: Due to the nature of pigment dye, loose pigments may remain on the surface of the garments. We strongly recommend to wash these garments separately.
